More about this app
Explores installed apps and activities and crafts, tests and launches intents with normal, root or Shizuku access; saves intents as shortcuts.
IntentX
Explore, craft, and launch Android intents.
IntentX helps you explore Android apps and create intents:
- Browse and search installed apps and their activities.
- See whether activities are exported or enabled and which permissions they require.
- Customize activities and broadcasts, including actions, categories, flags, and extras.
- Launch with normal, Root, or Shizuku access.
- Save intents and create home screen shortcuts.
Selecting a component opens a prefilled editor that you can adjust before launching or saving it.
Build
The project requires JDK 25 and Android SDK 37. The minimum supported Android version is API 31.
./gradlew :app:assembleDebug
License
IntentX is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0.

How Shizuku is used
Can launch crafted activities and send crafted broadcasts with Shizuku privileges via `IActivityManager` and allow Xiaomi shortcuts via `IAppOpsService`.
This is an AI-assisted analysis of Shizuku-related usages in the app's public source code. It is best effort, so it may not catch every single usage.
How this app uses Shizuku
With Shizuku granted, IntentX runs the intents you craft in the app using elevated system identity instead of as a normal app.
- Launch crafted activities: start any activity you compose in the editor, from a saved profile, or from a pinned shortcut, executed through Shizuku so restricted components can be opened.
- Send crafted broadcasts: send any broadcast you compose in the editor, from a saved profile, or from a pinned shortcut, delivered through Shizuku so restricted receivers can be triggered.
- Enable Xiaomi shortcuts: on Xiaomi devices, apply the system shortcut permission grant through Shizuku so home screen shortcuts can be pinned.
Android APIs or commands used
IActivityManager.startActivityAsUserIActivityManager.broadcastIntentIAppOpsService.setMode
Notable details
The same launch and broadcast actions also work without Shizuku through the normal app path, Shizuku only elevates them. Shortcut execution reuses only previously saved shortcuts and never accepts new executable fields from the caller.
